Exhibit VIII-B: Water Works Plans and Specifications Review Process

The Water Quality Control Division is required by the Colorado Revised Statutes, the Colorado Primary Drinking Water Regulations, and the Design Criteria for Potable Water Systems to review and approve all plans and specifications for new and substantially modified water works prior to construction.    

The application for a drinking water design review shall be made to the Water Quality Control Division on approved forms which are available from the Division as identified below.  

It is also the responsibility of the applicant to submit the application for the proposed domestic wastewater treatment works to all appropriate local governments, planning agencies, and State agencies for review and comment prior to submission to the Division.
