The Division of Local Government (DLG) created this comprehensive resource, which includes funding sources across all state agencies, to help local governments and nonprofit community organizations navigate the funding sources available through a variety of Federal and State programs. See the below instructions on use of this guide.
Disclaimer: This is not an exhaustive list and will be updated frequently as new information is available.
How to Use this Guide
The funding guide is a comprehensive list of statewide funding opportunities. Information on this table has been simplified to display just the information you see in the headers at the top of the table to make information more easily accessible and to make the table easier to navigate. To see more information or details about a specific funding program, click the hyperlink of the appropriate row under the “Program” header.
Above the table, you will see six different filter options. You can select as many of these as you would like to help narrow down your options. You can also type keywords into the “type to search” bar. You can also filter by clicking the vertical 3 dots above the table on the right-hand side and choose one of the “sort by” options of your preference. This is also where you can export selected data as well into an excel spreadsheet.
Local Government Coordination Call
This monthly call is a resource for COVID recovery for local governments and also has shifted to include a focus on assisting local communities in navigating available unprecedented funding opportunities. These include, but are not limited to, updates related to the American Rescue Plan Act, the Infrastructure Improvements and Jobs Act, as well as other forms of funding that are relevant to the local level. It takes place on the third Wednesday of every month at 11 a.m. Topics vary based on current events, but always include updates from the Department of Local Affairs and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
