Small Business Relief Program

Governor Jared Polis signed into law Senate Bill 20-001 on December 7, 2020. The bill provided $57 million in direct aid, grants, and annual fee waivers to struggling small businesses and allocated funds specifically for art and cultural organizations as well as minority-owned businesses.

The Small Business Relief Program distributed $14,081,116 in relief funds to 2,967 small businesses through 41 local governments. The program distributed those funds quickly with only 115 days between the passage of the bill and the final distribution of funds.
